Who is behind LnkStart, how to contact us, and what this site is.

Last reviewed: September 22, 2026

1. How to contact us

This website and the client and server software distributed under the name LnkStart are operated from Spain. Email is the way to reach us, and it is a direct and effective means of contact: we read it and we answer.

2. What this service is

LnkStart is closed-source client/server software, distributed as a single binary, that you install on your own VPS (the server) and on the machines whose services you want to publish (the agent). Unlike a hosted service, we never operate the infrastructure that serves your traffic: your VPS is your server, under your control, and traffic between your machines and your server never transits our network.

This website only offers the download, the free registration used to issue a license, and product documentation. It does not host, proxy or store any content published through an installation of LnkStart run by a customer.

3. Terms of access and use

Accessing the site implies acceptance of this legal notice. Using the software is further governed by the terms of service, and personal data processing (the registration email, server telemetry) is governed by the privacy policy.

4. Intellectual and industrial property

LnkStart is proprietary, closed-source software: the binary, its source code, the name and the distinctive signs of LnkStart belong to their owner. The license grants a right to use the compiled binary; it does not grant a right to redistribute it or to decompile, reverse engineer or analyze it internally, except where mandatorily permitted by law.

5. Responsibility for what customers publish

Every installation of LnkStart is operated by its own customer, on their own server. What a customer chooses to publish through their installation — which local service, behind which domain — is decided exclusively by that customer. We do not host, proxy, inspect or have prior knowledge of that traffic or content, because it never reaches our infrastructure.

6. Availability

The license issuance and renewal service, and this website, are operated with reasonable care but without a guarantee of continuous uninterrupted availability. An expired or unreachable license service never stops an already-installed server from running: see the terms of service.

7. Modifications

This notice may be modified to reflect changes in the service or relevant legislation. The prevailing version is always the one published on this page, with its revision date displayed above.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

This relationship is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the competent courts under applicable law. Where the customer qualifies as a consumer, this clause does not deprive them of statutory protections under the laws of their country of residence or the right to bring proceedings before the courts of their domicile.

9. Versions in other languages

This document is published in Spanish and English. The translation is provided for convenience only; in the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails, as it is the only one drafted under the applicable law.
